What are your predictions for the World Series?
England will beat Sri Lanka 2-1. I think Sri Lanka will win the first test, Murali taking a bucket load of wickets and then the England team will come back with KP hitting a tonne and Monty taking six in one innings.

England will beat Sri Lanka 3-2 in the series.
Congratulations to India who won the World Twenty20 Championship against Pakistan. Great match. Right down to the last over, keeping it impossible to guess who was actually going to win.
In 2009 the competition id being held in the UK. I fancy going to a match or two.
Okay, let's just pretend that England haven't lost those Twenty20 matches and watch this instead...

Ho, ho, Mustn't lose a chance to take the mickey out of the Australian cricket team. They lost to Zimbabwe yesterday in the world Twenty20 championships.
Unfortunately this means that they'll be extra determined to beat England when they meet.
Non-stop for the cricketers, they've only just finished the summer season here:
- West Indies test and one day series - dull due to erratic Windies.
- India test series - good but needed more matches.
- India one day series - excellent. The indian batsmen finally got going. Never thought a 7 match series would be any good but it was.
Last night I went to The Oval to watch some Twenty20 cricket, courtesy of a customer from work. Unfortunately things looked like this...
We left at about quarter to seven to go and eat at The Cinammon Club (awesome food). Apparently they played 5 overs each at 7.40pm. 5 overs! That's a bit crazy. The whole Twenty20 season has suffered from a (good old British?) rainy summer.
Now this is proper cricket. None of the one day nonsense. A match that takes 5 days has so much more opportunity for subtlety and twists.
